On Saturday, April 26, 2008 the Davie Historical
Society Committee will be presenting the Tenth Annual Generations
of Taste. From 6:00-8:30 pm, come sample some of the finest home cooking
around. Feast on dishes culled from the recipes of the town’s earliest
residents. These delicious recipes are found in the Davie Historical
Society Committee’s Cookbook series and while at the event patrons
get to taste from a variety of appetizers, vegetables, entrees and
desserts. In addition, participants get to vote for their favorite
dish. Golden Spoons are awarded to the cooks of the fan favorite recipes.
Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for children.
